Dennis B. Wycoff, son of Gallatin Police Chief Jim Wycoff and Mrs. Sigrid Frederick of Kansas City, has been promoted to Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve.
SSG Wycoff, a police officer with the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department, assigned to a Tactical Response Team, is married to the former Michelle Twyman, also a police officer with the Kansas City Police Department. They both live in Kansas City.
SSG Wycoff is a Gulf War veteran with the Combat Engineers. He has also been assigned to Frankfurt Germany, Ft. Leonard Wood, and Ft. Benning, Ga., while on active duty.
SSG Wycoff is currently assigned to the 795 AG Company, U.S. Army Reserve, headquartered in Bethany and was previously assigned tot he 5039th United State Army Reserve Forces School in Independence as an Army Reservist. SSG Wycoff has been in the Active Army and Army Reserve for over 10 years.
