Russell and JoAnn (Weese) Uthe of Winston will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at the Winston Methodist Church. They were married Aug. 10, 1950, in Cameron. Hosting the event are their children: Norma and Ron Eckerson of Maryville and Valerie and Vernon Parman of Winston.
