Criminal case filed: State of Mo. vs. Mark A. Kortz, Ct. I – burglary 1st degree, class B felony; Ct. II – assault 2nd degree, class C felony.
Law Day, July 20 – Judge Kenneth R. Lewis
Michelle J. Smith plead guilty to the class C felony of child abuse. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.
Terrance Allen Gifford admitted probation violations. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 6 years in the Dept. of Corrections.
Kenneth J. Scott plead guilty to probation violations. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 5 years in the Dept. of Corrections on each count of burglary and stealing and one year in the county jail for misdemeanor stealing, all sentences to run concurrently, the court retaining jurisdiction under 559.115 RSMo.
