The second of three Music Camps of Excellence at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville was held the week of June 18-23 for eighth and ninth graders.
This is the 20th year for the music camps. Nearly 900 students in the sixth through 12th grades will attend the camps, directed by Dr. Richard Weymuth, professor of music at Northwest. The final camp will be June 25-30 for sixth and seventh graders.
Those who attended the second music camp include Jenny Youtsey of Altamont; Kris York of Jameson; and Kamille Burrell, Kayli Burrell, Sam Everly, Jessica King, Jamie Lunsford and Haleigh Tague, all of Gallatin.
