Girl Scout Troop 212 went on their summer outing May 21-23 to South Missouri. They toured the Precious Moments Chapel and Museum in Carthage. Then they went to Eureka Springs, Ark., to shop, hike and sight-see. The troop stayed in cabins in West Branson. In Branson, they toured Ripley’s Believe It or Not and attended the Shepherd of the Hills play. Finally, they toured the Bass Pro Shop Museum in Springfield and ate lunch at Lambert’s Restaurant. The girls earned money for this trip by selling candy, cookbooks and Girl Scout cookies. Chaperones on the trip included Vicki Tague, the troop’s leader; Tambra Campbell; Kim Cornett; and Karen Creel. Girls Scouts are pictured, front, Kassidi Ratliff, Jossie Campbell, Meagan Tague, Megan Parrack, Sarah Cornett and Jessica Bills; back, Courtney Riley and Robyn Creel. [Submitted Photo]
