Harold and Virginia Walker were married June 24, 1950, in Stockton, Calif. They honeymooned in San Francisco. Six of their children were born in California, where they lived until 1964. They moved back to Gallatin, where Harold was from originally. Their last two children were born in Gallatin.

Harold worked as a mechanic and retired from Swofford Motors in 1992. They now have 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. To celebrate Harold and Virginia’s 50th anniversary, their children would like to invite all friends and family to a reception at Lake Viking Club House at 2:30 p.m. on June 24.
