A warrant was issued for a 20-year old Gallatin man in connection with an assault on a Lake Viking woman reported last week. He was charged with 1 count of Class A misdemeanor assault, third degree, and two counts of Class B misdemeanor property damage, second degree.

Kelly Frazier of Jamesport was processed June 15 for Class D felony non-support.

The sheriff received a report on June 16 of a missing 13-year-old child. It was later discovered that the child had spent the night with a friend.

Donnie Pottorff of Coffey reported on June 18 the theft of a 1984 Nissan Sentra. The car was found wrecked at the 107 mile marker on I-35 on June 19 by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Lamoni, Iowa man, age 21, was processed for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on June 19.

On June 19, a 38-year-old Pattonsburg man was processed for the Class B misdemeanor of filing a false report.

Joshua A. Morris, 20, Kansas City, Kan., was arrested June 19 for the Class C felony, possession of a controlled substance. He posted $15,000 bond and was released.

Robert C. Williams of Davenport, Iowa, was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on June 17 for the Class C felony of tampering in the first degree. He was brought to the sheriff’s office and held on $25,000 bond.

A Gallatin man, 40, was arrested June 16 for the Class B misdemeanor of property damage and the Class A misdemeanor of assault. He posted bond of $500.

James J. Jennings of Bethany, age 45, was arrested June 16 for the Class C felony of assault. He posted bond of $35,000.

Norman Shane Tharp, 26, of Bethany, was arrested June 16 for the Class C felony of assault and the Class B felony of burglary. He posted bond of $35,000.

John L. Tripp is being held in the Grundy County Jail after being arrested June 15 for the Class C felony of tampering. Bond set at $35,000.
