Red Cross swimming lessons at the Gallatin City pool will be held June 26 to July 8 for Gallatin students and from July 10 to July 21 for the rest of the county. The times are the same for both sessions. Level 6-7 is from 8-8:45 a.m.; Level 4-5 is from 9-9:45; Level 2-3 is from 10-10:45; Level 1 is from 11-11:45 a.m. Level 1 students must be six years old or out of kindergarten. Registration forms may be picked up at the end of this week at the city pool. Water safety instructor is Bethany Vandiver.

Classes for four and five year olds will be held at 10 a.m. and classes for three year olds and under will be at 11 a.m. July 24-28. Children three and under must have a parent or grandparent that will enter the pool with them.

An Adults/Community Water Safety course will be offered from 8-10 a.m. July 24-28. Water exercises rather than lessons are optional for participants .Lessons can last from one to two hours and T-shirts may be worn. The course is designed to be comfortable and fun. Interested adults should contact Bethany Vandiver to enroll. Class will be canceled if not enough are interested.
