Graveside service and burial for Christian Barnhart, nephew of Kayla and David Michael of Gallatin, were held Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee Mission. Arrangements were by Amos Family Chapel, Lenexa. Memorials may be made to the Lee Ann Britain Infant Development Center at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Edith E. Barnhart.
Other survivors include, a twin sister, Claire B. Barnhart of the home; maternal grandparents, E. Wheeler and ElDora Schmidt, St. Joseph; and paternal grandfather, Wayne E. Barnhart, Independence.
