The Lake Viking Lions Club will host the ninth annual Kids Kamp from June 18-23. The camp is for visually impaired children ages 8-15 and provides swimming, boating and fishing. Each camper has his or her own counselor.
The Missouri Conservation Department furnishes all fishing rods, bait and personnel to help during fishing day. The Mic-O-Say dancers are scheduled to perform for the children. The Hamilton Lions have planned a hot dog roast and the Jameson Lions Club will have homemade ice cream and a hayride. The campers will hold a talent show on the final day.
