V. Louise (McLaughlin) Watson, age 57 of Reeds, MO, died Thursday, May 25, at her residence.

Mrs. Watson was born August 29, 1942 in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Hamilton High School, Hamilton, MO in 1960.

Mrs. Watson had owned and operated the Koffee Kup in Gallatin for several years.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Clay and Lois Marie (Shinn) McLaughlin; a daughter, Angela Burnett and a grandson, Justin Virtue. Survivors include her three daughters, Sarah Hight of Reeds, MO; Robin Allee of Webb City, MO and Michelle Adair of Nixa, MO; two sons, Mike Coursen of Joplin, MO and Cliff Burnett of St. Joseph, MO; sixteen grandchildren and a host of dear friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home, Gallatin, with Rev. Robert Grant officiating. Mrs. Edris White sang “Why Me Lord”, “One Day At A Time”, and “Amazing Grace”. Pallbearers were Victor Mitchell; David Harding; Troy Allee; and Richard Hight. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Gallatin, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to one of the following, American Cancer Society, Joplin, MO; Arthritis Foundation or to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Reumatology Association, in care of the funeral home at 201 S. Market, Gallatin, MO 64640.
