You’ll have a front row seat to fun when Daviess County Library in Gallatin presents Parasol Puppets’ Circus on June 15, at 3:30 p.m.
Peter Allen uses colorful hand-puppets to show you all of the thrills of the circus. From trained lions to snake-charmers, sit back and experience the death-defying feats of the Ringmaster as he puts his head into the “Crocogator’s” mouth. You might want to hold onto your hat when the Cowboy does some “fancy shooting.”
This will be our first of six story times. One June 29, Ron McNeely from the Conservation Department will talk about fur trapping and other guest story tellers are being scheduled.
Children, age 3 and older are invited to join us on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. at 306 W. Grand, Gallatin, for an hour of stories and activities. Children entering first grade and up are also reminded to register for the summer reading program, “Turn Over a New Leaf: Read.”
