The Pattonsburg Community Betterment met May 23, 2000, to sort books at City Hall. Five members attended. Our next goal will be a tree project/grant for C Hwy. and Central Blvd., to be approved by the city board. The group is also working on a revised Community and Business Directory, community library, hours to be open and library cards. The club will meet at 7 p.m. on June 20, 2000, at the Multi-Purpose Center.
