Marriage licenses were issued to Marvin G. Weathers of Kansas City and Mary Etta Brown of Gallatin; Carl Leroy Allen of Pattonsburg and Rebecca Jane Keener of Maysville; Victor Lee Graber and Rebecca Sue Beechy of Jamesport; Jonathan Wade Thomas and Melanie Billings of Gallatin; Philip C. Schlemminger and Patricia Ann Evans of Hamilton; Charles Allen Ramsbottom and Julie Ann Whitten of Gallatin.
On May 24, Robert L. Duncan appeared before Judge John R. Hutcherson (retired) to request a change of venue, which was granted to DeKalb County.
On May 26, Judge Stephen K. Griffin sentenced Gabriel A. Lesher to concurrent three-year terms in the Dept. of Corrections on each of five felony counts: two counts of tampering in the first degree, stealing, and burglary in the second degree, class C felonies, and possession of burglar’s tools, class D felony. Sentences are also to be served concurrently with sentences on Harrison County charges.
