The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting Friday, June 2, to discuss issues related to Crowder State Park near Trenton. The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the campground amphitheater, and the public is invited.
Representatives from the park will be at the meeting to present information about the park and to answer questions. Agenda items include the construction of a new campground shower house scheduled for this fall and completion of the second half of the Thompson River trail.
This informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
Crowder State Park is located four miles west of Trenton on Highway 146 in Grundy County.
