Ten ladies attended Kill Kare Club at the home of Juanita Burke on May 15. The meeting opened with all reading the Club Creed. Roll call was “An old time seed that is still planted.” A bulb plant and seed exchange was held. Juanita’s devotional was “Home is the Happiest Place.” Her lesson was on “Blue Bird Habitat.” Nina Allen read the minutes and treasury report. Betty Peters had a quiz on vitamins and supplements we use daily. Bingo winners were Clara Macrander, Jewell Carpenter and Nina Allen. Next meeting is a picnic supper on June 19 at the home of Carolyn Youtsey.
