Three Jamesport businesses reported they suffered property damage over the weekend. At The Family Tree House, someone broke out a beveled door glass valued at $400 and a window glass valued at $100, but no entry was made. A golf ball was found in the store. At both Granny’s Playhouse and Woodward’s Antiques and Gifts, someone had tried to pry open the door.

Guaranty Bank and Trust of Pattonsburg reported they received a counterfeit $20 note in a deposit on May 18.

Herb Carpenter, Gallatin, reported burglary of his shop some time between May 17-19. Missing were a 40-ton hydraulic jack and a 1/2″ drive electric impact wrench.

A Jamesport woman reported on May 19 that she had been the victim of assault by a person known to her. The victim requested, however, that the report not be forwarded to the prosecuting attorney.

A Winston woman reported on May 18 that she had been the victim of assault on Oct. 23, 1999, by a person known to her.

A 46-year-old Kansas City man was arrested May 19 on a March 6 warrant for failure to appear on application to revoke probation on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He posted $500 bond.

A 34-year-old Kansas City woman was arrested May 17 in a traffic stop on I-35 in Daviess County and charged with 2 counts of the class A misdemeanor of driving while license suspended and the class A misdemeanor of resisting arrest.
