Barbara Wooten-Duncan of Lake Viking has placed two new books in the Daviess County Library in memory of her mother and father. Day of Deceit by Robert Stinnett, in memory of her father, Melvin W. Wooten, is one of the most important books about Pearl Harbor. This books shows that the famous “surprise” attack was no surprise to our war-minded rulers. It contains new and frightening documentation about what caused America’s greatest military disaster.
