Mr. and Mrs. Chris Youtsey, Altamont, wish to announce the birth of their son, Steven Michael, on April 29, 2000. The baby weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20 ½ inches long. Chris had to have surgery and will remain at Children’s Mercy for a couple of weeks.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Buck of Kansas City, Kan. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Youtsey of Winston.

Paternal great-grandparents are Wilma Youtsey of Winston and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Brushwood of Yukon, Okla., and Eva Robinson of St. Joseph.
