Midland confers 199 degrees at spring commencement

Midland Lutheran College President Dr. Jennifer Braaten conferred degrees upon 199 graduating students during the spring 2000 commencement at 3 p.m. on May 14 in Hopkins Arena.
U.S. Sen. Robert Kerrey delivered the commencement address titled “Freedom.” Braaten presented him with an honorary doctor of law degree in recognition of his years of service to the State of Nebraska.
Spring 2000 graduates included Aimee Hiskett, BSBA, management.
