Funeral services for Pauline Neighbors were held May 6, 2000, at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton.
Pauline M. (Irelan) Neighbors, 81, Trenton, died May 3, 2000, at a health-care center in Trenton.
Mrs. Neighbors was born in Apponoose County, Iowa. She was a graduate of Lemons High School. She lived on farms near Lemons, Milan, Lucerne and Mercer, before moving to Trenton in 1981.
In 1936, she married Burl Bankes. Then in 1960, she married William F. Michael. He died in 1982. She married Delbert Neighbors on Aug. 15, 1983. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Neighbors was also preceded in death by a son, Dickey L. Bankes; a brother, Lowell Irelan; and a sister, Dorothy Collins.
Other survivors include a son, Bill Bankes, Alpha, Ill.; two stepsons, Terry Neighbors, Kirksville, and Lindsey Neighbors, Odessa, Texas; three sisters, Juna Wortz, Trenton, Helen Bear, Moline, Ill., and Wanda Daniels, Jamesport; a brother, Darrell Irelan, Redland, Calif. ; and several grandchildren and stepgrandchildren.
