April disbursement record

The total amount collected by the Associate Circuit Court in fines and court costs during April 2000 was $28,968.46. Of that amount, $16,707 in fines was disbursed to Daviess County school districts, apportioned on the basis of enrollment.

Court costs disbursed to Daviess County included $2,533.75 county fees, $1,729.50 incarceration costs, $645 clerk fees, $392 Law Enforcement Training Fund, $281.25 bond forfeitures, $240 sheriff’s fees, $196 crime victims compensation fund, $98 Prosecuting Attorney Training Fund, $15 reimbursement for UA test, and $10.26 postage.

Other disbursements include a total of $5,059 to the Department of Revenue for clerk fees, Crime Victims Compensation, Independent Living Center Fund, Court Automation Fund, and Prosecuting Attorney Training Fund; $196 to the Department of Public Safety for Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission Fund; $621 to the Sheriffs’ Retirement Fund; $50 to the Law Library Fund; and $194.70 for all other disbursements.
