Funeral services for Alice Mills were held Monday, May 1, 2000, at the Jamesport United Methodist Church. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Jamesport. Burial was at South Evans Cemetery, Trenton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jamesport United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
Alice Marie (Simpson) Mills, 83, Jamesport, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Mills was born near Galt. She attended rural schools at Tindall. She had lived in the Meadow View Apartments in Jamesport for over 15 years.
Mrs. Mills had worked for Reed Seed Company in Jamesport as a clerk.
Mrs. Mills was a member of the Jamesport United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women of the Church.
On May 6, 1961, she married Wesley Mills in Jamesport. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two brothers, Doran L. Simpson, Salem, Ore., and Samuel F. Simpson, Oelwein, Iowa; four stepchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren.
