The Gallatin National Honor Society 2000 induction ceremony was held April 19 at the Daviess County Library. Following the welcome by President Kelly Story and remarks by the featured speaker, Dr. Larry Dickinson, who was president of the Gallatin NHS chapter in 1967, sixteen students were inducted into the society. The presentation of senior cords was made by Supt. James Ruse to the following seniors: Shannon Batson, Chanel Burge, Scott Crose, Trent Dowell, Alexia Eaton, Silas Fitzmaurice, Courtney Houghton, Ida Jarboe, Julie Macy, Allison Spidle, Neal Steward, Rebecca Stith, Kelly Story, Chad Sullenger, Jack Taylor, Justin Vyrostek, Daniel Wilson, Andy Weldon, and Kenny Youtsey.
