Pattonsburg V.F.W. Post #8824 and Auxiliary held a joint meeting at the Multi-Purpose Center on April 12. Everyone enjoyed a carry-in supper before the meeting.
The district meeting was held in Princeton on April 8. Jack and Evalee Lowery, Paul and Sally Schweedler and Mary Berry represented Post 8824. Next district meeting is Sept. 9 at Trenton.
Collective as a group, our Post has donated over 60 books to our Pattonsburg library.
An appreciation breakfast was given by Cameron Manor on April 13. Evalee Lowery, Mary Berry and Ester Morrison reported it a very nice breakfast. We appreciate them for having us.
Our Post will keep our Easter Bunny (Mary Berry) very busy until Easter. At 2 on April 19 we will be going to Bethany Care Center for the Easter and birthday party. At 2 on April 20 we will return to Cameron Manor. At 1:30 on April 21 we will be at the Daviess County Care Center. Join us in Bethany park at 10 on April 22 and The Methodist Church in Pattonsburg at 2 for an Easter egg hunt.
