Final days of tree program – April 12-14

The final three days of the 2000 Conservation Tree Program will be held starting on April 12 and will conclude on April 14 at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Chillicothe.

This will be open sales and all tree stock will be sold for $1 per tree. Anyone wishing to purchase trees will need to bring a five-gallon bucket or other container to transport their trees.

All trees range from 12 to 18 inches in size with a healthy root stock and good branching. Available species are Colorado Blue Spruce, Eastern Red Cedar, White Pine, Austrian Pine and Scotch Pine.

Open tree sales will begin at 9 a.m. each morning and run until 3 p.m. or until all trees are gone. If you have any questions call the RC&D office at 660-646-6220 Ext. 104.
