The Boy Scouts of Gallatin’s Troop 67 are holding a beef and pork barbecue fund-raiser at the Lions Club building on West Grand this Saturday from 4-8 p.m. Profits from the event will be used for the Scouts to attend Camp Geiger and to take a canoeing and camping trip to south Missouri this summer.

“We have scheduled the barbecue so that people can enjoy a great meal and support the Scouts before going to the Gallatin Theater League’s production of ‘Sugar’ this Saturday,” says Scoutmaster Paul Pierce.

Tickets for the barbecue are $5 for age 13 to adult, $3 for children ages 7-12, and $3 for seniors age 65 and over. Children ages six and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Scout, at Big A Auto Supply, the Arnold Law Office, or by calling: 663-3648, 663-3079, 663-8916, 663-3977, 663-2027, or 684-6119.
