The total amount collected by the Associate Circuit Court in fines and court costs during March 2000 was $30,075.69. Of that amount, $16,995.50 in fines was disbursed to Daviess County school districts, apportioned on the basis of enrollment.
Court costs disbursed to Daviess County included $736.50 clerk fees, $2,687.50 county fees, $1,360.50 incarceration costs, $446 Law Enforcement Training Fund, $350 sheriff’s fees, $223 crime victims compensation fund, $112 Prosecuting Attorney Training Fund, $73.05 medical expense reimbursement, and $12.21 postage.
Other disbursements include a total of $5,864.50 to the Department of Revenue for clerk fees, Crime Victims Compensation, Independent Living Center Fund, Court Automation Fund, and Prosecuting Attorney Training Fund; $223 to the Department of Public Safety for Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission Fund; $721.50 to the Sheriffs’ Retirement Fund; $70 to the Law Library Fund; and $200.43 for all other disbursements.
