“It’s Murder in the Wings”

On Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m., the annual NCMC spring play production will be held in the Hoover Theatre on the North Central Missouri College campus in Trenton. This year’s play, “It’s Murder in the Wings,” will be directed by Dr. Vicki Wheeler, communications instructor at NCMC. Tickets are on sale at the NCMC Bookstore with prices of $4 for adults and $3 for children, students or senior citizens.

“It’s Murder in the Wings” is a mystery comedy about a murder on the set of

the Wings Publishing Company. Throughout the play, the characters try to

figure out who is the real murderer. The 13 characters in the play are all

NCMC students, who have been practicing since early February.

“This year’s play promises to be a good one with fine actors and plenty of experience,” said Wheeler. “Be sure to buy your tickets early and enjoy ‘It’s Murder in the Wings,’ the first NCMC theatre production of the millennium.”

Cast members include Toby Minnis, Stephanie Oawster, Abbey Gleason and Jason Mannino from Chillicothe; Nathan Vandevender, Sarah Pilcher and Carlos Zuniga from Trenton; Alisha Wilson and Jessica Rose from Bethany; Katrina Girsch of New Hampton; Joseph Heaton of Green City; Matt Tussey of Plattsburg; and Wanetta Day of St. Louis.
