COUNTY COMMISSION
Following are approved minutes of March 20. All members were present.
Linda Adkins, Circuit Clerk, met with the commission regarding the courtyard. The commission agreed to allow community service workers to provide the labor, add topsoil and grass seed to the trenched area and purchase Scott’s Weed-N-Feed for application to the lawn. The road and bridge crew will bring in dirt for any larger low areas.
Daniel Lynn, bridge supervisor, and James Lewis, foreman, met with the commission reporting construction progress.
Fae Lewis, Green Thumb, met with the commission with a program update.
Dick Carpenter, Harrison Township, met with the commission regarding a drainage problem. The commissioners determined that it is a landowner’s problem.
Notice was received from Harrington & Cortelyou, engineers, recommending that the bid for project BRO-031(18) be awarded to Missouri Bridge and Concrete, Warrenton, Mo. A copy of this documentation was forwarded to Missouri Department of Transportation.
Paul Smith, grader operator, met with the commission with questions on the CART program in Colfax Township.
The CART contract between the county and Limpus Quarries was executed.
The commission inspected the parking lot to assess needed changes and improvements.
Wallace Greene, coroner, and Tom Everly, assessor, filed their training certificates.
