The First National Bank is participating in the Partners in Education program at Searcy Elementary School in Gallatin.
The First National Bank is participating in the Partners in Education program at Searcy Elementary School in Gallatin. The bank has partnered with the third grade class to teach them about money and banking operations. On March 7, Marilyn Pardun, along with Cody Bird, taught the third graders a lesson on bartering. The third graders were put into groups and given goods to barter with for candy. The class will finish up the partnership in May with a bank tour.
