Jamesport drive targets goal of 55 units of blood

Jamesport Missouri Community is sponsoring a blood drive with Community Blood Center from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, at Jamesport Elementary School. Please call Betty Price at 684-6502 for more information or to sign up. The goal is to collect 55 units at this blood drive.

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds, and be in good health. All donors receive cholesterol testing. Donating blood takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour of your time. Since most blood donations are broken down into components, as many as three lives can be saved from just one pint of blood.
