The Viking Valley Association annual meeting was held March 5 at the clubhouse with over 200 members in attendance. The membership approved an increase in infraction board fines from a $100 maximum to a $500 maximum fine.
Elected to the board were Robert Allen and Gene Frye. Allen is a retired pastor who serves the Maysville Christian Church on a part-time basis. He and his wife Charlotte have lived at Lake Viking since 1995. Gene Frye is a computer technician for the school district of St. Joseph. He and his wife Pat have resided at Lake Viking since 1997.
