COUNTY COMMISSION

Following are approved minutes of Feb. 24. All members were present.

Daniel Lynn, bridge supervisor, and James Lewis, foreman, met with the commission reporting on repair projects.

The commissioners filed their certificates of training.

David Holcomb moved to enter into closed session to discuss possible real estate transactions. Danny Heldenbrand seconded. No action was taken.

The regular open session was resumed with a discussion of 590.175 RSMo. Danny Heldenbrand absented himself from any discussion and vote. David Holcomb moved that any training necessary for a newly elected sheriff be obtained after the term begins January 1, 2001. David Tolen seconded. Carried.

The commissioners reviewed county fund balances.

Daren Adkins, Associate Circuit Judge, met with the commission concerned with security in his vault following the drilling and installation of conduit through the walls by the central dispatch office. The commissioners were unaware of any changes but will have the electrician check and seal the holes.

In the afternoon, the commissioners met with area bank representatives. Those in attendance were Gary Reynolds, Guaranty Bank; Dan Lockridge and David Tribble, First National Bank; and Roy Pendleton and Ron Cornett, Bethany Trust Co. The discussion centered on future county economic development and actions currently underway in Pattonsburg for a REAP grant.
