Several hundred people attended the fair.
The FCCLA Health Fair was held on Feb. 17, 2000. There were more than 25 booths from area agencies and businesses. Several hundred people attended the fair. Many people took advantage of cholesterol, blood pressure screenings and hearing tests. The local police had a booth where parents had their children finger printed. Families were able to collect information on health and safety for all ages. Free literature was available including information for the Missouri Tourism department. Children were amazed by Dr. Adam’s Magic Show and everyone enjoyed entertainment provided by Gayla’s dance students. Door prizes were given throughout the evening sponsored by local businesses.
