Crowning ceremony held at Winston homecoming

Winston High School held its 1999-2000 Homecoming on Feb. 4. Pictured are Winston’s Homecoming King Brett Lang and Queen Bobbie Gatton. The crowning ceremony was held following the basketball games with the Pattonsburg Panthers. Those included in the Homecoming were senior candidates Josh Vanderslice and Bobbie Gatton, basketball candidates Brett Hang and Starla Burns, junior candidates Skyler Kintner and Stacey Carlton, sophomore candidates Luke Caldwell and Carol Blacketer, freshman candidates Derek Vaughn and Grace Carlton, Stu-Co candidates Jase Lee and Shandon Curtis, escorts Camden Atkinson and Jade Simecek, and gift bearers Zakary Clark and Chandler Newman.
