Hill Crest Manor Nursing Center is sponsoring an informational session on “Financial Assistance for Nursing Home Care.” This event will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at Hill Crest Manor, 801 S. Colby, Hamilton. The public is invited to attend this meeting and to stay and enjoy a “Dessert Bar” that will be served following the meeting.
The speaker will be Charles Bentley, Supervisor of the Medicaid Eligibility Department of Division of Family Services from Jefferson City. Topics of discussion will include division of assets, trusts, spendown, etc. Mr. Bentley will be explaining the newest information from our state office in Jefferson City on Medicaid eligibility.
This information is not just for those people who have limited financial resources. Mr. Bentley will be able to answer questions on how trusts are affected when a person enters a nursing home as well as how a married couple can be assisted with a division of assets.
