The Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma met at the Parkview Elementary School in Cameron on February 12. Hostesses were Bethany Area ladies. Vivian Bowman and Helen Muller attended from the Gallatin area. President Vivian Bowman of Pattonsburg was in charge of the meeting. Jeanie Harris, Cameron, was appointed the new recording secretary to replace Donna Saccaro. Roll call was answered by “A Humorous Teaching Moment.” Plans were made for the state meeting being held in Columbia on April 7-9. Alpha Pi will be the hostess for this meeting. Member Virginia Snook, Cameron, has been nominated for “Who’s Who of American Teachers” by a former fifth grade student, Billy Lowenstein, who is now a junior at Cameron High School.
