Fred Nathanial Hasting, age 82, of Gallatin, died Tuesday, February 8, 2000, at Sunset Nursing Home, Maysville, MO.
Mr. Hasting was born November 21, 1918 in St. Joseph, MO.
He was a maintenance worker for M.F.A. grain elevator in St. Joseph, MO for forty-one years.
He was a member of the West Valley Church of God in St. Joseph, MO.
Mr. Hasting was united in holy matrimony with Daisy Green. She preceded him in death. He was then united in holy matrimony with Hazel Marie (Ferrier) Anthony Hasting on March 7, 1986, in Miami, OK. She survives of the home.
Mr. Hasting was also preceded in death by his parents, Frederick W. and Reba O. (Pruett) Hasting and a son, Marion Hasting.
Survivors also include his two sons, Timothy Hasting of St. Joseph, MO and Joshua Anthony of Shenandoah, IA; a daughter, Carol Anthony of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation. There will be no visitation or service. Arrangements were under the direction of the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home.
