Civil cases filed: Jody Alan Case and Janet Ashbrook Case, joint petition for dissolution of marriage; Jackqueline Dawn Blackburn Arndt vs. Billy Chad Arndt, dissolution of marriage.
Criminal case filed: State of Mo. vs. David W. Smith, Ct. I – burglary 2nd degree, Class C felony, Ct. II – stealing, class C felony, and Ct. III – driving while license revoked, misdemeanor.
A marriage license was issued to Terry Noel Waterbury and Angelia Dallas Tharp, both of Gallatin.
Kenneth J. Scott, who had previously plead guilty on Nov. 4, 1999, to the class C felonies of burglary in the 2nd degree and stealing and the class A misdemeanor of stealing, appeared Feb. 9 before Judge Stephen K. Griffin in Clinton County for sentencing. A pre-sentence investigation was filed and Scott was given a suspended imposition of sentence and placed on 5 years probation.
