North Daviess R-III schools will hold their annual Homecoming festivities on February 25-26. The annual North Daviess Homecoming game will be held on Friday, Feb.25. North Daviess will face Osborn in basketball at 6:30 p.m. The junior class is holding a taco supper before the game.

The dance will be on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 8 p.m. to midnight, with the coronation at 9 p.m. This year’s theme is “Quest for Camelot.” The band Southern Comfort will be the evening’s entertainment with Doug Baker being the DJ during their intermission.

This year’s homecoming is the tenth year since Jameson and Coffey combined to form North Daviess. This year the senior and junior classes had to have escorts, because the only senior boy is crowning the new king and there are no junior boys.

The senior candidate is Cyndi Heckenbach with her escort Craig Heckenbach, who was the first Homecoming king at North Daviess. Junior Lindsay Ray will be escorted by Chris Baker, who was the last king from Jameson High School. The sophomore candidates are Kerri Baker and Jimmy Hunt, and freshman candidates are Darcie Iddings and Max Courter.

The North Daviess staff and students would like to encourage all to attend this special millennium event.
