Patrick Joseph McDowell, 39, of Kansas City was arrested Feb. 7 by the Highway Patrol during a traffic stop at the 70 mile marker on I-35 in Daviess County. He was charged with the class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance, and the Class A misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted bonds totaling $76,500.
A 27-year-old Jamesport woman was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with the Class A misdemeanor of criminal non-support. She posted $100 bond.
An 18-year-old Gallatin man was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with the Class A misdemeanor of driving while license suspended. He posted $2,500 bond.
Eddie M. Long, Winston, reported the theft of a 1 1/2-carat diamond ring from her residence on Jan. 30.
Jack L. Prindle, Gilman City, reported cattle missing since last November, a 500 lb. Limousin/Charolais cow and a 300 lb. red calf valued at approximately $800.
A bicycle has been recovered in the Gallatin area. If anyone is missing a bicycle, call the sheriff’s office at 663-2031 with a description to claim.
