Funeral arrangements for Francis Tucker, a former resident of Lake Viking, were conducted by Green Valley Funeral Home, Green Valley, Ariz. The family requests memorials to Livingston County Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
Francis Wilson Tucker, 82, Green Valley, Ariz., died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at La Pasada Care Center in Green Valley, Ariz.
Mr. Tucker was born near Joplin. He lived in Raytown, and at Lake Viking, before moving to the Green Valley, Ariz., area in 1986.
Mr. Tucker was in the real estate business in the Kansas City area for several years and later was employed by Warwick Electronics of Sepulveda, Calif., as a marketing strategist and design engineer for the Thomas Organ Division. Mr. Tucker, along with his sons, began Nudec Investments, a business in the Kansas City area.
Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by a sister, Brooksie Allen, and a son, Alan Wilson Tucker.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth A. Tucker, of the home; two sisters, Thelma Burkes and Clara Freeborn, both of the state of California; two sons, Gary T. Tucker of Green Valley, Ariz., and East Tawas, Mich., and Dr. Glenn M. Tucker of Trenton; four grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
