The Green Hills RC&D 2000 tree program is now underway. This year’s program features five evergreen species to choose from, which include Eastern Red Cedar, White Pine, Blue Spruce, Austrian Pine and Scotch Pine.
The Green Hills RC&D is offering bluebird houses, wren houses and squirrel feeders. The price of the birdhouses is $7 each, and the feeders are $10 each. They are locally made and meet the Missouri Department of Conservation specifications.
Order forms for the trees and/or birdhouses can be picked up at the Green Hills RC&D office at 1100 Morton Parkway, Chillciothe, or call 660-646-6220 Ext. 104. You can also call the Daviess County SWCD office at 663-3732.
