Just a reminder that you need to get your Hepatitis B vaccinations started if you have not already received them. The Hepatitis B is a three dose series over a six month period. If you start them now they will be completed by college entry. Hepatitis B is a free vaccine until you turn 19 years of age. The cost through the Health Departments is $25.60 per dose age 19 and above.
To receive your series through the Health Department you may come any Tuesday at 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1-4 p.m. or you may call for an appointment. We will be happy to work with you. If you are 18 you may sign the consent form yourself and receive the shot. If you are under 18 you must have the consent signed by your parents or guardian.
