Lake Viking Homemakers Club met Jan. 6 at the clubhouse with 18 members. Hostesses were Betty Cooksey and Charlene Van Becelaere. Ann Fruits celebrate a birthday. Devotion was given by Joy Wilsted, “Count Your Blessings for the New Millennium.” Roll call was on how we celebrated New Year’s. President Sharon Lutter gave information on filling out our new year’s activity books. Having no hostesses for February, member decided to have hobo soup and gift exchange. Twenty-five items were collected for the food pantry. Next meeting is Feb. 3 at the clubhouse.
