Services for Susan Wilson, Winston, were held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at the First Baptist Church, Trenton. The body will be cremated after the service. Arrangements by Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, Trenton. Memorials may be made to the Butterfield Youth Services in care of the funeral home, 813 Custer St., Trenton, 64683.

Susan M. (Sharp) Wilson, 55, Winston, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, in a car accident two miles north of Liberty on Interstate 35.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Trenton and graduated from Trenton High School and from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked as a surgical nurse at Liberty Hospital, Smithville Hospital, North Kansas City Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital.

In 1981, she began working for the Untied States Postal Service, retiring in 1998 as a clerk from the Bethany post office.

On May 22, 1966, she married Fred L. Wilson III in Jamesport. He died in 1998. The couple lived in Liberty after their marriage until moving to Mount Moriah, in 1986. She moved to Winston earlier this year.

Survivors include a daughter, Cherace Hudson, Winston; two sons, Fred L. IV, Pocassete, Mass., and Christopher, Liberty; her parents, Tom and Oleta Sharp, Trenton; two brothers, Robert J. Sharp, Lawson, and Thomas R. Sharp, Richmond; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
