Funeral services for David McCleary were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Elmira Baptist Church, with arrangements by Poland Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial was at Elmira Cemetery.
David W. McCleary, 45, Winston, formerly of Lawson, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at his residence.
Mr. McCleary was born in Kansas City. He was a graduate of Lawson High School. He moved to Winston seven years ago.
Mr. McCleary was a truck driver for T.M.C. of Des Moines, Iowa, and for C.M.R., retiring in July 1999 due to illness.
Mr. McCleary was a member of Lawson Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude.
Survivors include two sons, Randy and Jesse, both of Lawson; his mother, Ruth McCleary Winston; a stepson, Keith Elam, Pella, Iowa; two brothers, Darrell and Dale McCleary, both of Winston; three sisters, Connie McCleary, Kingston, Mo., Vickie McCleary, Lawson, and Rebecca McCleary, Gladstone, Mo.
