Mr. Donald O. Page, age 67, of Gallatin, died Sunday, December 19, 1999, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, MO.

Donald was born September 2, 1932, in Highlandville, MO. He was a painter for the Livestock Exchange in Kansas City, MO for 35 years.

Donald lived in Gallatin since 1990, moving from Kansas City, MO, living there from 1948 to 1990, prior to this living in Highlandville, MO.

He was a member of the Church of Christ, Independence, MO, and had faithfully attended the First Baptist Church, Gallatin. He was also a member of the meat-cutters union #576 serving as steward for 30 years.

On September 20, 1980, Donald was united in holy matrimony with Bettie Lou Jones in Independence, MO. She preceded him in death on August 7, 1998.

Donald was also preceded in death by his parents, Amon and Rowena Page; two brothers, William Alexander and Carl Dean; a sister, Anna Mae Worley.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Kathy Knapp of Winston, MO and Suzanne Cameron of Cameron, MO; two sisters, Emma Jane Mayberry of Gallatin and Betty Griffith of Independence, MO; a brother, Robert Wade Page of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22, 1999, at 2 p.m., at the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home. Interment was in the Brown Cemetery, Gallatin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gallatin, in care of the funeral home, 201 S. Market, Gallatin, MO. 64640. Services were under the direction of the Hope- Eldringhoff Funeral Home.
