Following are approved minutes of the Daviess County Commission of Dec. 13. All members were present.
A letter was received from Serve Link Home Care informing the commission of a vacancy on their board and offering the name of Nancy Tate to be considered to fill the vacancy. Danny Heldenbrand moved that Mrs. Tate be appointed to fill the vacancy. David Holcomb seconded. Carried.
Linda Steward, budget officer, reported that the assessment fund balance is not adequate to meet the expenses and recommended that $3,050 be transferred from the general revenue emergency fund to cover these expenses. David Holcomb moved that the transfer be made. Danny Heldenbrand seconded. Carried.
The agreement between the county and Chidlren’s Mercy Hospital was reviewed and executed. Danny Heldenbrand moved that $1,000 be set aside in the 2000 budget for this agreement. David Holcomb seconded. Carried.
David Holcomb moved that the commission close the meeting for discussion of a possible real estate purchase. David Tolen seconded. Carried. No decisions were made. The matter is continued until next week.
